  • Customer Care

    Customer Service: Our customer support center provides assistance for both insurance company personnel and homeowners. The support staff is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. SkyeTec's Customer Support staff is dedicated to addressing questions or concerns by customers.  Anything not readily resolved is escalated to the proper levels in order to achieve customer satisfaction. 

    Customer Satisfaction: Each homeowner receiving an initial wind mitigation inspection receives a postage paid Customer Satisfaction survey card regarding the inspection. Based on a survey administered in 2008, with more than 65,000 responses, SkyeTec received a 99.5% overall satisfaction rate.

  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement

    Internal Quality Assurance Process: Even our select QA Wind Inspectors' files are subjected to random audits for accuracy and consistency of completed OIR forms.

    SkyeTec has implemented an internal control process that serves as a training tool and demonstrates a commitment to customer service and employee professional development with a voluntary Quality Assurance Program. The reinspection component of SkyeTec’s Quality Assurance Program consists of a systematic sampling of all inspections conducted.  The intent of the reinspection component is to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency in our inspection services and identify:

    1. Additional training areas
    2. Accuracy of inspection process
    3. Consistent reporting
    4. Proper representations of data collection
    5. Need for additional inspection tools or processes
    6. Susceptibility to interpretation of data findings
    7. Demand for higher levels of scrutiny
    8. Other findings that would require attention/action

    SkyeTec has and will continue to use the findings of its quality assurance program to develop additional on-going training courses, internal training “quick sheets” for distribution to its staff and feedback to clients.
